Sculptures' Funeral

After the exhibition < a handful of earth: molting > , the sculptures have faced their funeral. Unsold sculptures caused me a headache by occupying my space physically and I decided to bury them to return them to the soil.

A handful of earth: Molting
Solo exhibition
“A handful of earth is a handful of the universe."
Soil represents something that exists everywhere but is hard to recognize. Look underneath your feet. There is soil, and it does not matter if there is marble or wooden boards that you are stepping on. Nadoe returns food waste to the soil through compost and tries to play with the soil. In their works, the soil represents surplus. Nadoe focuses on observing surplus objects and giving them an artistic status.
